The Castellot, located on top of the rocky mountain that can be seen from Cal Noia, at a height of 465 meters above sea level is the remains of the ancient castle dated 977. Its position is privileged since from the top we can enjoy exceptional panoramic views of the Penedès region. There are several ways to climb the Castellot, which can be accessed through a path that starts at the back of the House (ask the property). The path leads to a wider forest track where there are signs indicating the way to the top.
Another of the old fortifications that can be visited on foot is the Can Pascol Tower, which is part of the Cal Noia estate and is located at the top of a cliff, in the middle of the forest. To access the track you have to take the same path to go to the Castellot (ask the property), and once you reach the forest track turn right. This path is also ignposted.

At a 15 km distance, we find the archaeological and monumental site of Olèrdola. It is an ancient settlement located on the mountain of Sant Miquel d'Olèrdola, whose origins date back thousands of years. In the Olèrdola archeological site, located in a natural park and declared a Cultural Place of National Interest, you can visit the Iberian settlement, the Roman fortification, and a medieval town, with pre-Romanesque and Romanesque churches and medieval graves carved into the rock. One of the most impressive activities that you cannot miss is the "castellers", a historical Catalan tradition consisting of making towering human towers that make the phrase "the union makes the strength" a reality. The "Castells" have been declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO and you can see them, especially in Vilafranca del Penedès, 12 km from Cal Noia. The castellers perform mainly in summer, the highlight of the casteller calendar being the festival of San Fèlix in August 30. From Cal Noia you can visit some of the most beautiful beaches of Baix Penedès and Garraf.
